Wallet Lost usually can be divided into four situations:
1. When deleting the wallet, there is no backup mnemonic or private key
After creating the wallet, it is recommended to make a backup for your wallet's mnemonic and private key immediately. And after the backup is completed, please verify it repeatedly to confirm that it is correct.
2. Lost private key
The private key here includes mnemonic, keystore and plaintext private key. When users back up their mnemonic phrases, they usually do not verify them afterward, or the handwriting is so scribbled that it is difficult to recognize, which will make it impossible for everyone to retrieve their wallets. It is recommended that you carefully back up your wallet, and be good at using safe management tools to keep your wallet in the later stage to ensure that you can find the private key at any time and successfully import the account.
3. Forgot Keystore password
It is recommended that you encrypt the Keystore with a strong password. The password is preferably a randomly generated and not commonly used string, which can improve the security of the Keystore.
4. Backup the wrong wallet
Backing up the wrong wallet means that the user has two or more wallet accounts in the Huobi wallet. For example, one is for wallet A and the other is for wallet B, when the user wants to backup wallet A, but the private key of wallet B, which means wallet A will be failed to be backed up. It is recommended when you back up your wallet, please confirm that if the password is correct.
